Boots maintenance is crucial for maximizing their longevity. Discover some quick tips for proper care!

Regular Maintenance and Care for Nubuck Boots:

To keep your boots looking beautiful for longer, consistent care is important. Treat your boots one day before wearing them, allowing the maintenance product to properly protect the nubuck. The frequency of care depends on how often the boots are worn.

Follow the step by step guide below for the best nubuck boot maintenance.

1. Clean the boots with a soft brush, cloth, or sponge. Avoid using a hard brush that could damage the nubuck. You may use a brush specially made for nubuck or suede to gently remove dirt and dust. Make sure the boots are clean and dry before proceeding.

2. Protect your boots from dirt and moisture by using an impregnating spray. Make sure to test it on a small area of your boots first to check for any discoloration.

3. Clean the inside of the boots with an antibacterial spray.

4. If your nubuck boots have a zipper, you can maintain the zipper’s smoothness and cleanliness by using a zipper spray.

You can use boot shapers or paper to prevent sagging or creasing. Boot shapers help maintain the shape of the boots and absorb excess moisture.

Daily Maintenance:

Here are some tips for daily maintenance that help extend the lifespan of your boots.

- Use a soft brush to remove excess dirt after outdoor activities. Avoid using a hard brush that can damage the nubuck. Pay extra attention to the edges near the sole, as dirt can accumulate there and potentially damage the nubuck or stitching.

- If your boots become wet, allow them to dry at room temperature. Avoid placing nubuck boots near heat sources, as this can damage the texture. Remove the insoles and stuff the boots with paper to absorb the moisture.
