Elke laars wordt met liefde gemaakt, in een uitgebreid productieproces van 250 stappen. Omdat onze laarzen met natuurlijke materialen met de hand worden gemaakt, kunnen er soms kleine verschillen tussen paren zitten. Denk aan handmatig snijden en vormen van het leer, het borduren en perforeren van elk motief, en het samenbrengen van alle onderdelen tot laarzen met een eigen identiteit. Elk paar heeft een trackingcode die wordt geregistreerd, zodat jouw laarzen echt uniek zijn. Dit zijn laarzen die je jarenlang bij je houdt, voor herinneringen die blijven.
Een van de belangrijkste onderdelen in het proces is de Goodyear stitching. Dit systeem bestaat uit een dubbele stiknaad die het bovenwerk met de zool verbindt. Een interne stiknaad zet het bovenleer vast aan de binnenzool en de welt, en een tweede stiknaad bevestigt de welt aan de zool.

Maak je geen zorgen als de laarzen moeilijk aan te trekken zijn, dat is normaal. Je kunt de plastic zakken gebruiken die erin zitten. Zet een zak over elke voet, zonder de sok uit te doen, en je zult zien dat het veel gemakkelijker is om erin te komen. Als de wijdte of wreef krap is, is dit volkomen normaal, je zult zien dat ze binnen een paar dagen wijken totdat ze passen bij je voet. Als je denkt dat dit proces te lang voor je duurt, kun je het ook laten verbreden via een schoenmaker.
Het zijn laarzen van 100% rundleer, het leer zal in het begin wat hard zijn, maar zal zich naar je voeten vormen. Daarom is het beter om strakke laarzen te hebben (ze zullen zich naar je voeten vormen) dan laarzen die altijd te groot zullen zijn!
