Elke laars wordt met liefde gemaakt, in een uitgebreid productieproces van 250 stappen. Omdat onze laarzen met natuurlijke materialen met de hand worden gemaakt, kunnen er soms kleine verschillen tussen paren zitten. Denk aan handmatig snijden en vormen van het leer, het borduren en perforeren van elk motief, en het samenbrengen van alle onderdelen tot laarzen met een eigen identiteit. Elk paar heeft een trackingcode die wordt geregistreerd, zodat jouw laarzen echt uniek zijn. Dit zijn laarzen die je jarenlang bij je houdt, voor herinneringen die blijven.
Een van de belangrijkste onderdelen in het proces is de Goodyear stitching. Dit systeem bestaat uit een dubbele stiknaad die het bovenwerk met de zool verbindt. Een interne stiknaad zet het bovenleer vast aan de binnenzool en de welt, en een tweede stiknaad bevestigt de welt aan de zool.

Bij Dandelie willen we dat elk paar laarzen aanvoelt alsof het speciaal voor jou is gemaakt. Daarom hebben we een uitgebreide maattabel samengesteld voor onze Flower, Blossom en Chunky laarzen. Hieronder vind je twee maattabellen: één in centimeters en één in inches, zodat je eenvoudig de maat kunt kiezen die perfect bij jou past.
Controleer je maat door zowel de lengte van je voet als de omtrek van je kuit ter hoogte van de laarsschacht op te meten. Gebruik de maattabel hierboven als richtlijn. Zit je tussen twee maten in? Dan raden we aan om de grotere maat te kiezen voor een comfortabelere pasvorm.
De schacht van onze leren laarzen kan door een schoenmaker ongeveer 2,5 tot 5 cm worden opgerekt. Wanneer de laarzen slechts een klein beetje ruimer moeten worden gemaakt, kun je hiervoor ook thuis een laarzen- of schoenoprekker gebruiken. Omdat onze laarzen van rundleer zijn gemaakt, vormt het leer zich na verloop van tijd naar je voeten en kan het indien nodig worden opgerekt.
