From the SPOT Stage to Our Own Little Dandelie Corner

Last year, something very special happened for us at SPOT Groningen.

Willow Avalon came to Groningen, and before her performance, we had gifted her a pair of Dandelie boots. Then, that evening, she walked onto the SPOT stage wearing them. Seeing our boots up there was one of those moments that stays with you.

Dandelie has always been closely connected to the world of music, vintage style, Western influences, and people who wear things in their own way. But seeing one of our pairs become part of a live performance made that connection feel suddenly very real.

There was also something extra special about it happening in Groningen, because this is where Dandelie was born and grew. It is where our showroom is, where so much of the day-to-day life of the brand happens, and where many of our ideas have started.

This November, Dandelie is joining TakeRoot 2026.

And this time, we are bringing a whole little Dandelie world with us.

A little full-circle moment

When the possibility of joining TakeRoot first came up, it immediately felt right.

TakeRoot lives somewhere between music, Americana, country, and folk, and that slightly nostalgic Western world that has always been part of Dandelie. We knew quite quickly that we didn't want to follow the traditional retail booth at a festival. If we were going to be there, we wanted the space itself to feel like part of the experience. So our idea became a tiny vintage Western store hidden inside the festival.

Something you might wander into between performances and end up staying in for much longer than you expected.

We are bringing the Dandelie collection with us so that you can see the styles in real life rather than only through a screen.

Flower Boots, classic Western silhouettes, statement pairs, rare deadstock finds, and some of the styles that have become part of the Dandelie world over the years.

TakeRoot takes place on 7 November 2026 at SPOT Groningen, and we will be there with our little Dandelie corner throughout the festival.

Come in, look around, try on the boots you've been thinking about, discover a pair you weren't expecting to love, and say hi to us.

Even if you're only stopping by between performances, we'd love to meet you.
